Brandon Benson is a Los Angeles–based composer and producer whose work lives in the in-between—organic and electronic, intimate and expansive. A mix of classically trained and unclassically brained, he approaches composition like collage, layering texture, memory, and emotion into evocative soundscapes.

Equally at home with sweeping orchestration or sparse, experimental vignettes, he blends formal technique with DIY sensibility to serve each project’s unique needs. His music has accompanied films, documentaries, and commercial campaigns, always returning to the quiet power of sound as storytelling.

Brandon is a founding member of the punk band We Are The Union and shares his more personal sonic explorations under the name Mild Animal.
